Handpicked from Yemen’s Mountain Terraces

Yemen is the birthplace of coffee culture, where beans have been cultivated for centuries on steep mountain terraces using traditional, sustainable methods. Each bean is carefully handpicked and naturally sun-dried, preserving the authentic heritage and unmatched quality that Yemeni coffee is famous for.

Renowned for its rich complexity, Yemeni coffee offers flavor profiles ranging from bright and fruity to deep, chocolaty, and spicy. This unique character makes it a prized choice for specialty cafés, roasteries, and coffee connoisseurs around the world who seek authenticity in every cup.

Harazi Coffee

Grown in the majestic highlands of Yemen’s Haraz region (1,500–2,400 meters above sea level), Harazi coffee represents one of the country’s finest treasures. It comes in two renowned varieties:

  • Harazi (Sa’afani) Coffee
  • Ismaili Coffee from Bani Ismail

Cultivated on ancient mountain terraces and valleys, these beans are naturally sun-dried on rooftops and in modern dryers. Harazi coffee is celebrated for its creamy texture and subtle floral notes, offering a perfectly balanced flavor for true coffee connoisseurs.

Matari Coffee

From the high-altitude region of Bani Matar (1,700–2,400 meters above sea level), Matari coffee stands as one of Yemen’s most sought-after Arabica varieties. The region’s dramatic elevations and traditional farming practices create a bean with unmatched depth and character.

Sun-dried on the flat rooftops of mountain homes, the cherries naturally absorb the essence of the earth, producing a cup that is full-bodied, earthy, and aromatic. The result is a rare and distinguished coffee celebrated for its bright acidity, smooth body, and sweet notes of apricot, dark chocolate, and dates. Subtle hints of caramel and spice linger on the finish, making every sip a raw, wild, and unforgettable experience.

The Pride of Yemen

Taizi Coffee

From the historic highlands of Taiz (Arabic: تَعِزّ, Taʿizz), Yemen’s third-largest city and the capital of Taiz Governorate, comes one of the world’s most rare and extraordinary coffees. Cultivated at elevations above 3,000 meters, Taiz lies only 95 km — about 1.5 hours — from the legendary Port of Mocha, the historic gateway through which Yemeni coffee first reached the world.

Often called the “secret of Yemeni coffee”, Taizi Coffee preserves this rich heritage. With its bright acidity, layered complexity, and unforgettable depth, every sip tells the story of Yemen’s mountains, its people, and the port that made coffee famous across the globe.

The region’s dramatic terrain and traditional farming practices give the beans their distinctive profile — a true reflection of Yemen’s southern mountains.

Haymi Coffee

Cultivated in the Al-Haymah district of Sana’a Governorate, Haymi coffee flourishes on mountain terraces and fertile valleys at elevations of 1,800–2,200 meters above sea level. The beans are carefully sun-dried on rooftops and in modern dryers, preserving their authentic Yemeni character.
